CHEO is seeking a Senior Vice President, Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer to join their leadership team. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer as an Executive Member of CHEO, the SVP & CFO provides the overall direction and delivery of effective and efficient corporate services and oversees CHEO’s financial operations and management of operational support functions. They will be responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic resources plan, ensuring alignment with the vision, mission, values, strategic directions, goals, and objectives of the hospital. CHEO is in a time of transformation and the SVP & CFO will play a key role in the strategic leadership and innovation as it relates to corporate operations. They will foster a culture of teamwork, empowerment, shared decision making, and continuous process improvement to enhance care, quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The SVP & CFO will work closely and collaboratively with partner hospitals, universities and colleges, associations, agencies, provincial government, and Ontario Health in formulating solutions to issues and fostering innovative healthcare systems.

As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced and highly credible leader with a proven ability to empower individuals and teams. You are a CPA/CA and have an undergraduate degree in commerce, business administration, or equivalent field with five to ten years of recent, related experience in progressively more senior management roles, ideally in the Ontario healthcare system. You are a highly independent and autonomous professional who possesses critical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills. You are recognized for your ability to identify and propose solutions to fundamental problems with long-term implications. You are comfortable functioning as an active and engaged voice at the senior management table and with key stakeholders.
